Product Details

PTFE-Coated Magnetic Rod – Featuring a powerful internal magnet and fully encapsulated in PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), this rod offers strong resistance to acids and alkalis, a non-stick surface, and is primarily used for magnetic foreign matter detection in lithium battery cathode and anode materials (black powder), quality inspection of high-purity powders, sample digestion pretreatment for ICP and other analytical instruments, as well as stirring in chemical reactions.

Product Features:

  1. Exceptional Anti-Stick and Non-Wetting Properties: Adsorbed magnetic impurities or reaction materials can be easily and thoroughly rinsed or wiped off, effectively preventing cross-contamination.

  2. Acid and Alkali Resistant, Not Prone to Aging: With a long service life, it is suitable for extreme environments such as sample digestion, stirring in strong acid/alkali chemical reactions, and iron removal from corrosive materials – applications where stainless steel magnetic rods are not a viable alternative.

  3. Sealed Structure: The magnet is completely encapsulated by a PTFE tube, preventing any contact between the magnet and external media. This not only protects the magnet but also prevents contamination of the material by the magnet.

  4. Wide Temperature Range: Maintains stable performance over a long-term operating temperature range from –200°C to +250°C.
